Tips for choosing the best photo:

• Make sure the photo has a high resolution.
     If you pull up the photo onto a large screen (such as a desktop or a tablet) and the photo is grainy, the detail in the drawing will be grainy and not as clear. I draw exactly what I see.

• Avoid "washed out" faces.
       Shadows are good. Try to choose a photo where the face(s) has depth. This makes for a better looking drawing.

• Find one that means something to you.
        If you have a photo of a special moment or memory, that overrides the above tips. Sadie wants to give you the best possible commission from your photos. Choose something that you can cherish and love for years to come.
